The Nook and Cranny Premium Hand Wash Process
Our Premium Hand Wash is designed to remove dirt, road grime, and other contaminants without causing swirl marks or scratches. Here is how we do it:
We clean the wheels and tires first
We start by thoroughly cleaning the wheels and tires, removing built-up brake dust, dirt, and grime. For some vehicles, if the wheels haven’t been cleaned in a while, a separate service would be required to get them back up to standard.
Next is a proper wash
Depending on the condition of your car and what it needs, we either foam down the vehicle or use a rinseless wash method to remove the dirt and grime from the exterior. We use high-quality wash mitts, soaps, and brushes to wash the vehicle. This is the most common part of the process where you add swirls and scratches into the paint.
Swirl-Free Drying
Just like the wash process, this is another common step where you can add a ton of swirls into the paintwork. After washing, we dry your vehicle using a combination of a blower and ultra-soft microfiber towels to prevent streaks, swirls, and water spots.
Clean the Door Jambs
It’s a simple detail but the door jambs are often overlooked. We clean and dry the jambs to give the vehicle a complete look (even though it’s not that noticeable).
Tire Dressing and Glass Cleaning
Finally, we apply a premium tire dressing for a sleek, non-sling finish and clean all the exterior glass and mirrors for clear visibility.
